Summary
Keeping Busy – Early in February of 2015, the author writes, he prepared for an important trip to Europe, in which he was scheduled to participate in an international conference on the future of Ukraine, then under threat of annexation by Russia. He describes his plans to take one of his grand-daughters (Finnegan) with him as he had taken all of his children, and planned to take all of his grand-children. He also describes his determination to keep busy in the face of Beau’s latest struggles with his health, including rounds and rounds of experimental treatments that seemed to be taking a great deal out of him.
