Summary

In Chapter Nineteen: “Break-in. J.B.,” J.B. and Keyana break into Promise. The discover that someone moved the gun from the place where J.B. hid it. While they are there, they also break into Omar’s locker. They find a binder with pictures of Moore inside. There is also a letter from Moore informing Omar that his request to use Promise funds to buy photography equipment has been denied.

In Chapter Twenty: “The Talk. Trey,” as Trey investigates Nico, he is shocked to learn Nico is a member of the Dioses and that he was charged with attempted murder.

Trey is interrupted when his uncle comes to tell him the police have discovered that he has a gun similar to the make and model of the one used to kill Moore. Trey begins crying. He hears concern in his uncle...
