Summary

Chapter Ten: “Grounded. J.B.” is set after the murder. J.B. tells his mother that he did not murder Moore. He is relieved that his mother believes him. Still, J.B. thinks about the gun he moved to try to keep someone from getting hurt. Now his fingerprints are on that gun. He wants to cry as he imagines having to go to jail.

J.B. thinks of all the students Moore embarrassed over the course of the day and realizes the best way to clear his name is to find out who really killed Moore.
