Mia has been Michael's girlfriend for 23 days and she has no idea what to get him for his birthday. Mia has obtained a list from Tina, via Tina's mom, who used to date a sultan. She also has a list of appropriate gifts from her grandmother. She asks her mom and her dad. Although everyone gives suggestions, Mia thinks they are all unromantic. Then, she has to stop writing because the priest is looking at her for writing in her journal during mass.
