In her entry entitled Thursday, October 30, English, Mia writes that Hank did not go with her to school that day. The night before, the entire family had gone out to eat at a steak restaurant. Mia assumes he is not feeling well because of the amount of meat he ate. She notes that many at Albert Einstein High School miss Hank. Boris is the only one pleased when he learns that Hank will not be at school that day.
