In her Monday, October 27, After school entry, Mia discovers that her grandmother is working with a Genovian event planner to arrange Mia's mother's wedding. Mia tries to help her grandmother understand that her mother wants a small ceremony but her Grandmere believes this idea is ridiculous. When Mia suggests she should talk to her father about the wedding, her grandmother says that Mia will be lucky to find him since he spends all this time with Beverly Bellerieve. She says if he isn't careful, he will end up in the same position as Mia's mother. Mia realizes, however, this isn't possible because of her dad's infertility.
