Around noon, Mia's plans to spend the day in bed are ruined when Mom attempts to give her a sex talk about her relationship with Michael. At 7 p.m., it seems everyone calls to check on Mia today. Dad calls to ask about the party, and Grandmere insists on Mia accompanying her to dinner on the 7th with the sultan of Brunei. She notices Mia seems upset, but when Mia tells her that Michael does not want to go to prom, Grandmere offers to call Prince William. Mia explains Michael is not going with someone else: he does not want to go at all, so Grandmere says that Mia just needs to find the right incentive.
