Summary

After high school, Patricia's plans to go to college are thwarted at the last minute when her father confesses that they do not have the money for her to go. Instead, she moves into the abandoned convent next to her father’s rectory and focuses on her poetry. She meets Jason in an online forum for poets and they begin an online courtship. Finally, they make a plan for Jason to drive out to meet her. Patricia also plans to return with him to his home in Colorado after his visit.
