Nothing can draw a satisfactory description of Mr. Bingley out of their father, but the description given by their neighbor, Lady Lucas is favorable, including young, handsome, agreeable, and to top it all off, Mr. Bingley intended to attend the next assembly with a large group of friends from London. Mrs. Bennet is ecstatic, even more so when Mr. Bingley returns Mr. Bennet's visit a few days later.
