Aria Montgomery

Aria is a smart, quirky, artistic girl who loves books and writing. In seventh grade, Aria had been a confused and awkward young girl who did not know what she wanted or who she was. She discovered her father was having an affair with one of his grad students, and promised not to tell her mother. She allowed Alison to hoard this knowledge over her.

After Alison disappeared, Aria and her family moved to Iceland and their whole world changed. Her parents seemed to be happier than ever, and Aria discovered herself. She read philosophy and met Icelandic boys and travelled all over Europe and fell in love a bunch of times.
