Summary

In Chapter 15, Emily went to swim practice. She was thinking about Maya, oscillating between excitement and fear. She did not know what she felt for Maya. Ben, Emily’s swimmer boyfriend, invited Emily over after school because his parents would not be home. Emily thought about having to sit on his couch and kiss him and wanted to cry. She told him she could not come over and he got angry. Their coach, Lauren, had them start racing and Emily beat Ben. He got even angrier.
