Chapters 29-31 Summary

In Chapter 29, Spencer goes through her sister Melissa's notebooks and finds that she made out with "JD," or Jason, years ago. Hanna and Emily show up at her door then, and tell her what they've discovered about Jason and Wilden. They all go on Instant Messenger then, and contact Ian. Ian tells them that he'd been planning to meet Ali the night she was murdered, but saw two blond girls running away. He says, as well, that both Jason and Wilden were supposed to be in the Poconos at that time, but were in Rosewood. He confirms that they were the murderers. At that moment, the girls smell gasoline.

In Chapter 30, Aria returns to Ali's flag and sees the letter J crossed out on it. On her way over to Spencer's she sees Ian's class ring in the woods and goes...
