Part 3, Outside: Chapters 32-39 Summary

In Holy Day, Tally searches for a way past the barrier, but cannot find one. Finally Andrew suggests that she go back to the village and steal one of the gods' hovercars when they come on holy day. Tally and Andrew make their way back to the village slowly, discussing many things. Tally tries to teach Andrew about her world, but he has trouble grasping some of the concepts. When they reach the village, Tally hides in a cave near where the gods park their hovercars. Tally waits until the doctors leave and then she sneaks down to one of the cars. Tally is confronted by a doctor who at first believes her to be a pretty who has somehow gotten lost. However, when Tally asks him a few pointed questions about his work with the villagers...
