Part 2, The Cure: Chapters 15-19 Summary

In Rain, it has been raining for days. Tally is becoming more and more anxious to escape the city, but they still cannot get their cuffs off. Fausto arrives with two hoverboards that he has rigged so they are no longer connected to the city grid. Tally and Zane go outside to practice on the hoverboards, leaving the city to ride along the river. When they stop to rest, they see a couple of uglies watching them from across the river.

In Cutters, Tally and Zane go to speak to the uglies and discover they are two uglies who helped David and Tally create a diversion the night they stormed the Specials building to rescue the Smokies. These uglies tell Tally and Zane that the Smokies have abandoned the Rusty Ruins, but that they think...
