Part 2, The Cure: Chapters 10-14 Summary
In Breakthrough, Tally and Zane have spent the last month constantly in one another's presence, even sharing a bed at night. They were released by Special Circumstances without much fuss, but both have been given interface cuffs to replace their interface rings so that they cannot take them off. Not only this, but the cuffs themselves can listen to everything they say so they have to be constantly on guard with what they say. However, it appears that the cure is working. Zane is definitely clearer and Tally still has some mornings when she wakes pretty-headed, but Zane helps her become bubbly. On this day, they are going ice skating with the Crims.
