Chapters 43 and 44 Summary

Jake takes Jimmy to the beach so they can talk. Jimmy says he doesn't want to talk but Jake asks if Jimmy will listen. Jake explains that he was a lost soul, like Jimmy's mother, before he met Lynda. Jake explains that God put Lynda in his life to help him. Jimmy says he doesn't know if he believes in God. Jake says that's fine because whether Jimmy believes in God or not, he is watching over him, Lisa and everyone else.

Beth makes her way upstairs to Tracy's room, where Beth finds Tracy crying. Beth tells her about the bomb and Tracy tells Beth about Nick bringing Jimmy to see her. Tracy says she wishes she would have died instead of Nick saving her so that she wouldn't have to deal with the pain now. Beth tries to convince Tracy...
