Summary
In Chapter 14, Praxis and Willy discussed plans for their lives and relationship. Willy seemed determined to prove that Praxis "could not possibly live without him" (110). For Easter vacation, Praxis and Willy visited Holden Road. "Praxis felt jealous" of Willy's attention to Hilda (112). One night, they danced naked together. Another day, Praxis visited Lucy. Hilda kept insisting she was "getting better" (114). Praxis thought Hilda was unwell. Willy insisted she leave her alone.
Back at school, Praxis "spent the term organizing Willy's life" (116). Irma and Colleen commented on the relationship. Praxis grew depressed. She blamed her family.
