Part 4: Monday, Chapter 31, Good Guys and Chapter 32, The Head of the Slug Summary

Augustus Brine, Travis, and Gian Hen Gian go back to Jenny's house, waiting until Rivera has left to enter. They listen to Jenny's message that she will be late from work. Then, a call comes in. It is Rachel, and she is holding Jenny hostage. She demands Travis translate the invocations in exchange for Jenny.

Travis, Brine, and the Djinn go to the Head of the Slug to discuss their options. There, they run into Robert, who attacks Travis out of jealousy. When they calm Robert down, they explain Jenny's been kidnapped. Robert agrees to help them. Howard Phillips is also there, and he joins the party. They come up with a plan.
