Katie Fisher is eighteen, a normal teenager who is looking forward to her future. Katie expects to marry her long time boyfriend in a few months and settle down to a domestic life like her parents. Katie has grown up Plain, or Amish, and looks forward to continuing her life in the Amish community, most likely continuing to live on her parents' dairy farm.
