Summary

Piranesi writes a list of things that the Other has brought to him, such as a sleeping bag, a pillow, a fishing net, a fishing rod, socks, pens, and notebooks. Piranesi subsists on fish from the waters of the labyrinth. Piranesi believes that the labyrinth gives the Other food, since the Other has no apparent survivalist skills. The Other also has no desire to explore the labyrinth, and his clothes also appear to be immaculate, while Piranesi’s clothes are ragged. Piranesi asks the Other if Addy Domarus is one of the dead in the labyrinth, but the Other dismisses the question. The next time Piranesi visits the 13 sets of human remains, he has an intuitive feeling that none of them were Addy Domarus in life. One day, Piranesi suddenly has the strong feeling that he and the Other should cease searching for...
