Wayward Pines

Wayward Pines is an idyllic, small town in the wilds of Idaho. Composed of a Main Street, suburban neighborhoods with Victorian-era houses, beautifully-kept lawns and gardens of flowers and vegetables, and a number of locally-owned and operated stores, businesses, and places to eat, Wayward Pines becomes the final town on Earth, the epicenter for the survival of the human race orchestrated by Pilcher. Wayward Pines is surrounded by rugged terrain and electrified fences, and the people in town are told what to do, who to marry, and how to live in order that they may survive, though nearly all residents know nothing about the truth of the outside world.
