Summary
In “June,” Harri and Dean continued their investigation. Harri watched through the binoculars and Dean took notes. They studied the passersby to see if they showed signs of being guilty. Dean told Harri about DNA and how to find it.
Lydia prayed that Auntie Sonia would buy her a phone. When they visited Auntia Sonia, she had “a big bandage over her nose” (160). Harri’s mom worried that Julius had hurt her.
Whenever someone teased Poppy, Harri defended her. He and Poppy wrote their initials on their desks so their bond would last forever.
