Summary

In “March,” Harrison, or Harri, and his friend Jordan saw the dead boy’s blood outside Chicken Joe’s. They dared each other to touch it, but “couldn’t get close enough” because of the policeman and the dead boy’s mother guarding the blood (3). A pigeon walked through the blood, looking sad.

A memorial appeared near the blood. Jordan joked about stealing the boy’s clothes. Harri wished he could undo what had happened. He left a bouncy ball on the memorial.

Harri lived in a housing estate made of “three towers all in a row: Luxembourg House, Stockholm House and Copenhagen House” (5). He lived in Copenhagen House.
