Summary

In Chapter 15, set in 2018, Andy heard Clara scream and tried to get up to help her. She bumped her head against photographs lining the hall. Among those pictures, she saw herself as a toddler standing in the snow. In another picture, she was sitting on Edwin and Clara’s laps. Paula spoke to her, thanking her for leaving the gun in the gun. Paula picked up the phone and talked to Laura, telling her that Andy had been shot. Laura promised to slit Paula’s throat. When Paula indicated that Laura knew what she wanted, Laura promised to meet her in two days.
