John Huston

John Huston is the director of The Red Badge of Courage. As a renowned and mysterious figure in the film industry, Huston sets out to translate Stephen Crane's celebrated Civil War novel to the screen. Prior to his work on The Red Badge production, Huston is known for his ability to create unconventional and artistically-sensitive pieces of cinema. When he first comes up with the idea to make The Red Badge, he invokes producer Gottfried Reinhardt's help with the project.
