Chapter Three Summary
Jane tries to tell Will everything about anthropology. She remembers making an important discovery of ancient hand bones, and goes to the library for information. She found the 2.8 million-year-old hand in Tanzania and remembers finding, labeling and cleaning the bones. She sees the name Barrett, and thinks it might be hers but is not sure.
Herb Silver, an agent, makes a phone call to a movie set in Scotland and tells the starring actor his wife has been found, that her picture is in the paper. Her husband tells Herb he will be home the next morning and shuts down the set.
Will wakes Jane to take her to the police station where her husband is waiting. The press is waiting in hoards when they arrive because Jane is married to the famous Alex Rivers. Alex calls her Cassie and she...
