Summary

In Chapter 5, when Suzanne stops in front of her house in New York, Mila’s first thought is that she would never run away from a house that beautiful. Inside the house is a white German Shepherd dog whom Suzanne ignores. Mila pets her. Her name is Honey. She was Matthew’s dog. Mila feels loneliness coming from the dog. Although the house is beautiful, Mila gets a first impression that the house is not happy.

In Chapter 6, Mila and Catlin, her best friend in London, had a clubhouse in the top floor of Catlin’s house. They designed code books and made plans to hide out when Camden was attacked by the enemy. Mila described Catlin’s father as a man who shouted a lot and was best avoided.
