Chapters 74 through 79 Summary

In Chapter 74, Peter explains to Molly that he tricked Slank. He took the Starstuff, which was in a golden box, out of the trunk and hid it on the rock with the mermaids. He tells Molly about Teacher and their mental communication. Peter takes Molly to the mermaids and the Starstuff. Molly, who is overwhelmed by conflicting emotions, turns to cry. It is then that she sees her father coming.

In Chapter 75, Molly's father has a team of Starcatchers with him who craft a proper box for the Starstuff and contain it properly. Leonard tells Peter that the Starstuff has changed him, and that he will likely be able to fly forever. He also tells him that he might never grow old.
