Chapters 78-86 Summary

"A Deadly Fall," "The Silent Struggle," "The Metal Man," "The Secret," "The Keep," "Ombra's Plan," and "A Voice in the Dark" are the titles of Chapters 78 through 84 and outline the attempt of Ombra and his men to capture Molly and Peter. Ombra makes his way under the strong door of the tower, held off by McGuinn's lantern while Peter and Molly run down a staircase. McGuinn follows them, but is caught by Ombra briefly before he falls down the stairs and dies. Trapped in the lower floor, Molly and Peter accidentally discover a passage to a secret keep where Molly's finds clues that her father had been there recently. They come back out of the keep and dodge the men to reach the upper level of the tower where they barely escape through a hole in the wall.
