Summary
In Chapter 6, Pet joins Jam on her walk home. He tells Jam that no one else can see him. He says the fact that Jam knows about him gives her the “clarity” to see him. They have a lengthy discussion and Pet assures her there is a monster at Redemption's house. He asks whether she is actually open to finding. Jam decides to help Pet because she cannot run the risk that someone is hurting Redemption without doing something about it. At home, Jam and Redemption talk by video call. Jam shows Redemption the pictures of angels from her book, and they discuss the theory that being an angel or a monster is less about how a person looks and more about their actions.
