Chapter 34 Summary
Anna heads toward her room talking on the phone. Kate knows she's talking to Diane. When she hangs up, Kate accuses Anna of turning into all of those people she always hated before. The girls get into a little argument. In the end, though, Anna says she can always count on Kate and Kate says she'll always be Anna's friend.
When Kate realizes that Anna has never apologized to her for everything that happened, Kate turns around and heads back toward Anna's house. She finds Anna and Diane sitting in lawn chairs on Anna's front lawn. Diane says something mean to Kate about her father and Perfect You. Anna laughs.
