Chapter 19 Summary

The next afternoon, after school, Will asks Kate if she's going one of the Jennifers' party. Kate says she might and Will says he might go too. For a moment, Kate wants to tell Will about what happened the night before, but she doesn't. When she gets in the car, Kate asks her dad for the night off so she can go to the party. Kate spends so much time getting ready and thinking about potential conversations with Will at the party that she forgets she doesn't have a ride to the party. Todd walks in and she convinces him to take her. When Kate arrives at the party, Will isn't there. Kate calls home for a ride and then she sees Will.
