Chapter 18 Summary

Kate and Anna agree to meet at 9 pm that night. As Kate unpacks her food at the food court, Will walks up to her. When Will hints they should meet while he's breaking down boxes at 9, Kate tells him she can't because she's meeting someone. Will mentions the weekend and Kate ay she probably has to work. As they walking back to work together, Will brings up the weekend again, but Kate cuts Will off with a kiss. When Kate goes to meet Anna, she finds Anna in a store with Diane. Anna steps away and apologizes to Kate—saying she ran into Diane after they talked. Anna says she has to go because she forgot to go home to hear about her mom's job hunt before coming back to meet Kate. Anna leaves. Kate follows Diane out the same door Anna...
