Chapter 12 Summary

Will notices Kate and smiles at her as soon as she comes into first period the day after their kiss. His says hey to Kate but she doesn't say anything to him. In the cafeteria, Will walks in with his friend and his friend is making a fish face puckering face. Kate gets a pass to the nurse's office last period, but instead goes to the gym to talk to Will. She runs into Anna instead, who drops a paper off a stack of papers and Kate picks it up for her. Anna speaks to her for the first time in months.
