Brittany Ellis

Brittany is the daughter of a wealthy computer company owner. Brittany appears to have it all at school. Brittany is rich, the captain of the pom pom squad, and dating the captain of the football team. However, at home things are very different. Brittany's sister suffers from cerebral palsy and is developmentally delayed. Brittany's mother is embarrassed by Shelley's condition and therefore places pressure on Brittany to be perfect to make up for her disabled sister. Not only this, but Brittany's parents seem reluctant to take on the role of caretaker for Shelley, forcing Brittany to take responsibility for her older sister.
