Chapters 34-45 Summary

In Chapter 34, Alex is under the impression that Brittany has chosen Colin over him, so he goes to hang out with the Bloods. On his way home, Alex is pulled over and arrested for carrying a concealed weapon. In the jail cell, Alex knows the only person he can call is Hector even though it means he will owe Hector.

In Chapter 35, Brittany is concerned about Alex and she asks Isabel about him when he does not show at school. Isabel gives Brittany an address where she can find Alex. Brittany goes to the garage where Alex is working to get back his motorcycle from impound. Brittany tells Alex that she cares about him and wants to be with him, but that they have to keep it secret. Alex agrees and invites Brittany to his cousin's wedding.
