Jim Chee
Jim Chee is a Navajo Indian who was raised on the Big Reservation. Chee is a college educated man who is now a police officer with the tribal police. Chee is called to the home of a wealthy woman in the town where he works and asked to find a box that was stolen from her home. This box contains items that the woman has never seen but she knows are important to her husband. Chee does not accept the case, but promises to think about it. Before Chee can make a final decision, the woman's husband informs him that he knows who took the box and he is no longer concerned with finding it.
