Chapters 8-12 Summary
In chapter 8, Colton Wolf is working in his trailer, preparing his guns for future jobs. Wolf is a hired killer who is in New Mexico waiting to make amends on a botch job he had been hired to do a few weeks earlier. While Wolf waits, he checks his mail and finds a letter from a private investigator in California he hired to find his mother. This is the second investigator Wolf has hired because the first gave up when Wolf could not give him enough details to go on. Later Wolf makes a cautious phone call from a phone that cannot be traced back to him and learns that his target has died.
