Lillian Hellman
Lillian Hellman was the only child of Max and Julia Hellman. She was born in New Orleans but moved to New York City as a young girl. Lillian maintained a strong connection to New Orleans for much of her young life through her teenage years. Lillian spent half her school year in New York City and the other half in New Orleans where she stayed with her two maiden aunts, Jenny and Hannah.
