Penny's Heaven and Mortality
Penny is an eleven-year-old girl who lost her father at a very early age. In fact, she barely remembers him at all. Most of what she knows about him comes from stories told by both sides of the family. Unfortunately, the questions that plague her the most are the ones that neither side seems willing to answer directly, and that only piques her curiosity more. Penny would like to know the circumstances surrounding her father's death. Since no one will give her a straight answer, she finds herself speculating about it more and more. She wonders about death, and what heaven is like, since that's where she is constantly told her father is now, although she has no intention of personally finding out about it until she is a hundred years old or more.. The descriptions she is given of heaven are almost as varied...
