Summary

In “ABC,” Peak woke up with a sore throat and achy muscles. He met up with Sun-jo, surprised to see him wearing some of his gear. Sun-jo argued that most of it did not fit Peak anyway. He and Zopa would be accompanying Peak and Holly to Advance Base Camp, or ABC that day.

The group traveled with a herd of yaks, as the Sherpas led the animals through the terrain. The film crew tried to omit them from the footage, but Peak argued the animals and herders were an important part of the experience. Meanwhile, the climb grew increasingly difficult. Zopa reminded Peak, Sun-jo, and Holly to stay hydrated throughout. That night, Peak had trouble sleeping because he still felt sick.
