Chapter Six opens Part Two of the book: When Worlds Meet.

The setting of the book changes in the beginning of Part Two. The reader meets the author at a much younger age. While in a Christian college in Canada, Don Richardson heard Ebenezer Vine, secretary of the Regions Beyond Missionary Union, give a stirring supplication for young people to consider evangelizing in the South Pacific after graduation. Vine extolled on the need for a message of peace in an area of the globe known for its treachery and destruction. Many of the people who heard the message did surrender their lives for this cause, including Don Richardson and his future wife, Carol.
