Summary

Chapter 29 is titled “The Word and the Dream, the Heart and the Eye.” Igraine objects to Emmy's announcement that she will take Talia's place. She says the Harlows are not allowed to participate. Emmy is sure of her stand because the mantle's magic approves of her decision. Igraine objects again. Emmy asks if Igraine is afraid of having Gareth face a Harlow as a challenger.
