Chapters 31 - 32 Summary
Cayce works out on Monday morning, keeping the cell phone from Blue Ant close. It rings and Ngemi tells her Hobbs has called with what she needs. Now it is up to her. Greenaway's business opens at eleven and they agree to meet there then. After looking them over, Greenaway's first question is whether or not Cayce is serious, while looking at her flight jacket and sizing up her 'class' and status. She tells him her father is a collector. Ngemi immediately goes about verifying the provenance of the Curta, and Greenaway assures him that he has extensive documentation and photos that prove it is a legitimate number four in the line. Greenaway claims it was manufactured in 1947 and Cayce asks to see it. After asking again whether or not Cayce can truly afford the Curta, he finally puts it on...
