Chapters 28 - 30 Summary
An inspiration hits her and she emails Voytek to ask him when Ngemi is going to visit Baranov. She needs to talk to Baranov and needs to take the mapped printout of the numbers with her, although she doesn't know why. She meets Ngemi under the clock at the Waterloo station, and the two hour trip to Bournemouth is both pleasant and comforting. In Bournemouth, Ngemi secures a car and they continue towards their meeting with Baranov who lives in a caravan he rents from the Gypsies who own them. A sign at the entrance warns against unauthorized entry.
Cayce notices a distinct lack of birds singing or dogs barking. Ngemi admits he has never heard them either. He knocks on Baranov's door and tells him that he has someone with him. Cayce introduces herself and he is more than a...
