Chapters 22 - 24 Summary
Finally, Cayce sleeps briefly, showers and then climbs back into bed and manages to sleep until Damien checks on her the following morning at seven. They slip out for coffee alone. He asks if there is any word about her father and commiserates with her. She explains why she changed the locks, and he admits being careful about who had the keys before. She warns him that his computer might also be compromised, but he isn't angry. They exchange information about current events. She heads for a studio to exercise and to stay out of his way until he leaves again.
Leaving the studio, she goes to a sandwich shop for lunch, and sits remembering the first time she'd come to Covent Garden with her father. Her cell rings and Bigend asks her to come to Blue Ant. The phone rings...
