Chapters 10 - 12 Summary
Cayce makes it to Blue Ant early, and Bernard asks her how her ride home with Hub went. She tells him that they didn't talk shop, but instead discussed the footage, watching his face for any sign of complicity. She sees none. Dorotea arrives and claims that Heinzi has worked his magic with the logo in Frankfurt. She pulls out the square of art board to reveal an earlier version of the Michelin Man called Bibendum. "He took a duck in the face at two hundred and fifty knots," Cayce says. As Bernard looks like he is going to panic, Cayce tells him that the design is fine. She says goodbye to Bernard and Dorotea, asks for a car, and leaves. When she gets back to Damien's flat, she finds a Michelin Man garroted to the knob of the door with...
