Chapter 26, The Sound of Freedom Summary
The element of surprise works for Robby. Taking careful aim, he kills two of the three terrorists who remained in the room to tie up the captives. Dennis Cooley is the remaining terrorist and he is stunned. The former hostages quickly untie themselves and are able to force Cooley into divulging the proposed escape plan for the terrorists. A terrifying trip down the cliffs to the two boats is followed by an aquatic chase scene in the dark with fairly high seas in a storm. The Prince pilots the boat to Annapolis Naval Academy where they find the backup they need. Breckenridge is on duty and makes the necessary calls. The terrorist boat attempts to dock next to the vessel the hostages had used to escape. Heavy fire from all the military personnel on shore...
