Chapter 25, Rendezvous Summary
The Ryans welcome their very special guests, the Prince and Princess of Wales to their home. Cathy is within a week of her delivery due-date and is very uncomfortable with the heat. Sally is beautifully recovered and remembers to curtsy to the Prince and Princess. A short time later, Robby and Sissy Jackson arrive; immediately Robby monopolizes the Prince with conversations about flying. Jack prepares steak on the grill, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, and Cathy's special salad round out a traditional American cookout menu. Everything on the surface appears to be normal, but underneath there is tension everywhere.
