Chapter 6, Trials and Troubles Summary
The Ryans are required to stay in England in order for Jack to testify at Sean Miller's trial. The trial is held within four weeks from the terrorist attack, very speedy for Britain. Even though everyone assures Jack that the trial is merely a formality, there is a certain amount of trepidation when Jack enters the Old Bailey Two Courtroom. When Jack is questioned by the prosecuting attorney, he is able to tell judge and jury about his experience and explain his actions. Sean Miller's defense begins cross-examination; Jack realizes that he must be careful with his answers. Charles Atkinson is obviously well paid by the terrorists.
